Helpful Tip - Bertolli Classics

If you are person on the go (who isn't these days) and need a quick meal, I love Bertolli Classics, Meal for 2.  You can find them in the frozen food section.  My favorite so far is Chicken Margherita and Penne.  Now, listen, I am a fresh food kinda gal, but sometimes you just need a quick, "go to" meal. And these dishes, which are ready in 12 minutes, are surprisingly good.  Bertolli did something interesting.  They already made the pasta and the sauces , so they froze the sauce into what looks like ice cube trays, and added meat and cheese.  They are just over $3.00 per person, and a quick meal on a busy day.  What a great find!  :)

    That's funny this is your tip because we just had a Bertolli meals last night! Chris and I were talking about how good they are for a quick "go to" meal! I also don't buy many prepared foods, but they do a pretty good job! I try to pick them up when they are on sale. Their soups are good, too.

      Same conversation, different house. haha I haven't tried their soups, I will have to give them a try. Everybody needs a quick "go to" meal!

Why was Jesus Killed?

And when Jesus cried out again in a loud voice,  he gave up his spirit, Mt 27:50 I was asked the question Easter weekend, "Why did they kill Jesus?"  Great question!  Especially, why would the Jews, the chosen nation of God, whom God rescued over and over again in the Old Testament lead the charge to kill Jesus?  Let's go even further, the Jews did "evil in the eyes of the LORD" over and over again throughout history.   Yet, God gifts them with Jesus Christ, their long awaited Messiah (or Savior); and they send him to his death. Why?  For starters:  deceitful hearts (Jer 17:9)  Let's take a look at some of the ways the heart, if not properly cultivated, can deceive, and in this case; lead to the death of an innocent man by crucifixion.
